Commitment

Customer Service

- In order to provide an unequaled level of customer service, we believe it is critical for us to truly understand who our customers are, and remember that the customer is our number one priority. We, at Associated Estates, have at least four primary customers: residents, fellow employees, investors and vendors. Customer satisfaction begins with how all of our customers are treated: in a timely and courteous manner.

Integrity

- Encompasses honesty – in character and actions. Perhaps, this anonymous quote best sums up the definition of integrity: "It is the courage to say what is right when asked and to do what is right when not." Our Company reputation also relates to integrity. We believe it is the reputation of the Company that will affect whether those who have not had a chance to be our customers will decide to establish a relationship with us, and whether those who are our customers, will decide to maintain a relationship with us.

Respect

- Is treating others as you wish to be treated, being considerate of others' ideas and showing appreciation for their efforts. This includes the respect that exists between employees and customers, as well as the respect that exists between employees and their co-workers or supervisors. The best work environment strives to maintain the highest level of this kind of respect.

Teamwork

- With cooperation, a group of employees can accomplish things better and faster than any one of them can alone – and they can have fun doing so!
